InnoPath Identified by Leading Analyst Firm as One of Ten Emerging Mobile Players to Watch in 2007

Demonstrates Technical and Market Leadership

SUNNYVALE, CA — January 08, 2007 — IDC, a leading international analyst firm, has identified InnoPath Software, Inc., an industry leader in Integrated Mobile Device Management (IMDM), as one of ten emerging mobile players to watch in 2007. IDC chose InnoPath based on the company’s technical leadership and market traction.

The IDC report, Ten Emerging Mobile Players to Watch in 2007 (IDC #204820, December 2006), identifies small companies generating a market impact disproportionate to their size, taking into account market creation, innovation, vision, and potential.  “A comprehensive integrated mobile device management approach is critical as is a track record of commercial deployments complemented with a strong worldwide customer base of Tier 1 operators,” said Stephen Drake, Program Director, from IDC.

InnoPath is in a key position to lead operators into the next phase of MDM, building on its foundation of applications that reduce operational expenses, such as firmware updates and configuration management, and extending to features that help operators drive data revenue growth.  Two capabilities key to this growth, to be demonstrated at the upcoming 3GSM conference in Barcelona, include Software and Workflow Management.

Software Management permits the operator to preserve their place within the mobility value-chain, acting as a nexus for user software downloads, updates, and billing, thereby increasing data ARPU.  This capability helps insure that the application running on the handset is also secure, operates free of bugs, and is up-to-date.  Workflow Management, unique to InnoPath, ties all phases of MDM together into a single workflow, reducing the potential for operator error, thereby increasing efficiency and ultimately customer satisfaction.

“IDC’s recognition of InnoPath is testament to our vision of helping operators evolve their MDM deployments from the tactical to the strategic to drive new revenues and increase ARPU,” said John Fazio, president and CEO of InnoPath. “We delivered the industry’s first Integrated MDM solution. Now, we are introducing a new era of mobile data with our Workflow and Software Management, raising the bar once again.”
